When I first met Luke at the gym I thought he was just another one of those stereotypical, oversized personal trainers that only thought he knew what he was doing. And then I saw his very unique, scientific and tailored approach with people of all sizes, ages and personal goals over the course of several months. It was hard not to notice his clients’ massive improvements and heightened levels of motivation - which led me to think this guy knows what he’s doing in the gym!
As a result, I asked Luke for some training tips and nutritional advice to help me make some of those fitness and strength gains you simply don’t think are attainable as an over-worked city slicker. Also, having come from a professional rugby background, I thought I had a fair dose of knowledge in the fitness arena already – I quickly learnt my lesson! There were simple things which Luke introduced to my training regime that made my previous fitness and strength benchmarks dull in comparison to my current levels of fitness and strength.
